Accommodation for guests is available at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, the Conference Venue, which has sufficient accommodation for more than half the number of guests expected. Additional accommodation is offered at the adjacent Vanaprastha Ashram. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT SMOKING, CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND

NON-VEGETARIAN FOODS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ALL OF THE ASHRAMS.

While all rooms in both ashrams will be clean and tidy, there is a large variation in the rooms themselves such as their size, number of bedrooms (if in a suite), number of beds in a room, the type of toilet (“Indian” style or “Western” style), availability of running hot water versus the necessity of getting hot water from an external source.

How long do I need accommodation for?

Guests should plan to arrive into Rishikesh on the evening of Wednesday February 20. Registration will be open this evening allowing you an unheralded start to the conference on the morning of Thursday, February 21, the start of the conference. The conference will end after lunch on Monday February 25. Thus you will need accommodation for the nights of February 20 to 24 inclusive. If we arrange your accommodation, we will assume that you need accommodation for this specific period, unless you state otherwise.

 What is the type and cost of Accommodation?

All units have an attached bathroom and toilet as well as solar power and/or electric geysers. All bedrooms have single beds unless otherwise stated. Please be aware that, we cannot guarantee timely availability of hot water from solar power.

Students from India

We have reserved the basic economy rooms for students from India. So if you are a student from India, please contact conference@punarnava.com for your reservation/s.

 Type A : $US 11.00. A unit for two people with a single bedroom, river view, kitchenette, electric and solar geyser and “Western” style toilet.

Type B : $US 6.50.

A unit for two with a single bedroom, kitchenette, electric and solar geyser and “Western” style toilet.

Type C : $US 6.50.

A unit for two with a single bedroom, kitchenette, solar geyser and “Western” style toilet.

 Type D : $US 6.50.

 Vanaprastha Ashram – The adjacent Ashram

Type E: US $ 5.50

A unit for four with two twin bedrooms, electric geyser, an “Indian” and a “Western” style toilet.

 Type F: US $5.50.

A unit for four with two double bedrooms each with double beds, kitchenette, electric geyser, an “Indian” and a “Western” style toilet.

Type G : US $3.50.

A fully Air Conditioned unit for two with a double bedroom with single beds, electric geyser and a “Western” style toilet.
