Accommodation for guests is available at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, the Conference Venue, which has sufficient accommodation for more than half the number of guests expected.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SMOKING, CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND
NON-VEGETARIAN FOODS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ALL OF THE ASHRAMS.
While all rooms in the ashram will be clean and tidy, there is variation in the rooms themselves.
Students from India - We have reserved the basic economy rooms for students from India. So if you are a student from India, please contact conference@punarnava.com for your reservation/s.
How long do I need accommodation for?
Guests should plan to arrive into Rishikesh on the evening of Wednesday February 20. Registration will be open this evening allowing you an unheralded start to the conference on the morning of Thursday, February 21, the start of the conference. The conference will end after lunch on Monday February 25. Thus you will need accommodation for the nights of February 20 to 24 inclusive. If we arrange your accommodation, we will assume that you need accommodation for this specific period, unless you state otherwise.
Accommodation types and rates
The costs given below in US$ and INR are on a per person per day basis (normally two people, though some rooms have four people in the suite). At present, we are unable to take reservations for single rooms due to the expected shortage of rooms. If you wish to have a single room, then please let us know and if they are available, we will let you know by February 14, 2008 - Rates for single rooms are double the rates given below.

Type B: US$ 6.50 - Rs.250. A unit for two with a bedroom, kitchenette, geyser (for hot water) and “Western” style toilet.
Type C: US$ 6.50 - Rs.250. A unit for two with a bedroom, kitchenette, geyser (for hot water) and “Indian” style toilet.
