Ms. Betheyla Anuradha


Starting the practice of asana in childhood, Ms. Betheyla Anuradha has taught yoga for 22 years. She was a senior yoga teacher for The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico for ten years and has traveled extensively teaching Yoga and Ayurveda as well as Vedic astrology and palmistry. Ms. Betheyla focuses on the spiritual and healing aspects of yoga as it integrates with Vedic knowledge, supporting a bridge to expanded consciouness and increased awareness through exploring the universal healing modalities of sound, body, breath and mind that are shared by all cultures worldwide.

Dr. Claudia Welch


Claudia Welch is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, a practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine and an author on Eastern medicine and philosophy. She serves on the teaching faculty of The Ayurvedic Institute, Acupractice Seminars and Southwest Acupuncture College, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, of Lenox, MA, and The RISHI Center of Newport, Rhode Island. Dr. Welch has lectured on Oriental and Ayurvedic medicines internationally and brings a depth of knowledge and a sense of joy to her presentations. She maintains a private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Welch’s recent publications include an in depth online introductory course on Ayurveda, a mini e-Book for advanced Ayurveda and Yoga students, Secrets of the Mind: The 10 Channels Revealed, which unveils little known Tantric and Ayurvedic connections that provide depth and meaning to the practice of both and to the practice of Yoga. Dr. N Gopalakrishnan
 

Dr. N Gopalakrishnan is a scientist working for Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India. He is famous for his lectures aimed at rekindling the Scientific heritage of India. He along with a few other Scholars, founded Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage (IISH) in 1999. Dr. Gopalakrishnan holds a number of academic qualifications, which includes Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Journalism, Industrial Sociology and D.Litt in Sanskrit. He has earned accolades for studying Indian Scientific Heritage, for this is his area of passion.

An avid learner & orator, Dr. Gopalakrishnan travels around the world spreading the message that there is a distinct link between Indian heritage and science and there are indisputable scientific explanations to what we practise as our heritage.

Shri. Mukunda Stiles
 

In 1974, Shri. Mukunda was initiated by Swami Muktananda into a deep level of spiritual life through the Tantrik Kundalini process of Shaktipat. Baba Muktananda encouraged him to make Yoga his profession and gave him the name Mukunda, an aspect of the Divine Presence as the compassionate liberator.

He also trained in the 900-year old lineage of Prof. Krishnamacharya with teachers like Indra Devi, BKS Iyengar, AG Mohan and TKV Desikachar. He worked closely with Rama Jyoti Vernon, founder of Institute for Yoga Teacher Education. Shri. Mukunda founded the Yoga Therapy Center in Boston in 1981, where personalized Yoga Therapy was given for a multitude of medical and psychological conditions. He also taught at the Mind Body Medical Institute for five years.

Shri. Mukunda joined the executive board of Unity in Yoga International Conferences in 1992. In 1995, he co-founded the American Yoga College. Since 1999, he has been training Structural Yoga Therapists in two-year courses. He is currently on the Advisory Board of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. His books ‘Structural Yoga Therapy’ and ‘Patanjali's Yoga Sutras’ are widely accepted, & he loves sharing his insights from 30 years with Yoga.

Dr. K. P. Muraleedharan


Dr. K.P. Muraleedharan is a forward-thinking Ayurveda physician who graduated from the Ayurveda College, Kottakkal in 1977. He has grown to be recognized internationally as an Ayurveda scholar par excellence. This erstwhile principal who served for 17 years at the Ayurveda College – Coimbatore, and later for 6 years at the Jayendra Saraswati Ayurveda College - Chennai, Dr. Muraleedharan’s insights into several aspects of Ayurveda are exceptional. During his career he has many articles published in various journals. He is an eminent speaker and has addressed many Ayurveda seminars.

During his career, he has held key positions in many Universities like Chairman - Board of Studies in Ayurveda in SCS Deemed University, President for the Faculty of Ayurveda Tamilnadu in Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. He was also Chairman for Board of Studies in Ayurveda - Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. He also served in different capacities in Tamilnadu Public Service Commission, N.T.R. University of Health Sciences - Andhra Pradesh, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences - Karnataka, Kannur University – Kerala, University of Calicut - Kerala, University of Kerala, Bharathiar University -Tamilnadu, T.N. Dr. M.G.R. Medical University -Chennai, SCS Deemed University -Tamilnadu.

Dr. Rama Prasad


“If we were born with a users’ manual for our beings- it would be Ayurveda.”

Dr. Rama Prasad is an innovative Ayurvedic physician dedicated to establishing authentic Ayurvedic training and treatment in Australia. Since graduating from the prestigious Coimbatore Ayurveda College in 1989 Rama Prasad taught and practiced Ayurveda in India with the Coimbatore Arya Vaidya Pharmacy and Kottakkal Ayurveda Shala before relocating to Australia. For the past 10 years he has consulted and conducted courses from his busy clinic, Ayurveda Elements in Sydney. He is also the head Ayurveda lecturer at Sydney’s renowned Nature Care College. Dr. Prasad has published many articles on Ayurveda.

Dr. Prasad is passionate about applying Ayurveda to the modern context and conveying its potent healing potential to the public and practitioners in all health fields.

Dr. P. Ram Manohar


This Ayurveda scholar-physician, based in Coimbatore, has authored many writings on Ayurveda, as well as shared his knowledge and experience at many Conferences and seminars, nationally and internationally.

After completion of BAMS at Ayurveda College - Coimbatore, and MD (Ay) –Dravyaguna at ALNRM Ayurveda College - Koppa, Dr. Ram Manohar has been Research Fellow at LSPSS -Coimbatore & FRLHT- Bangalore, Research Coordinator/Lecturer at ALNRM Koppa Ayurveda College, Consultant at Reliance Health & Technology – Bangalore, General Manager of Clinical Research at Arya Vaidya Nilayam -Madurai. He is offering his services as Director of Research at The Ayurvedic Trust - Coimbatore, Project Principal Investigator – National Institutes of Health, US funded project on ‘Ayurvedic Center for Collaborative Research’ at The Ayurvedic Trust, Coimbatore.

Dr. Ram Manohar is also the Member of the Research Advisory Committee for the History of Science, Indian National Science Academy - New Delhi; Advisor of Aroor Ravi Memorial Ayurvedic Research Center at Koppa; Founding Member of International Forum for India’s Heritage at Uttar Pradesh, India.

Ms. Rose Baudin


Rose Baudin has studied and practiced yoga for 30 years and has taught for 20. She met her mentor Swami Gauribala in Sri Lanka in 1971, and was initiated into the Parampara in 1984. During the 16 years she lived in India, she was instructed by masters in the various schools of yoga: Integral, Iyengar, Vini, & Astanga as well as extensive meditation experience under the guidance of S.N. Goenka (Vipassana), Zen Master Hogen-san Yamahata, (Soto), and Sayadaw U Janaka (Satipatthana Insight Meditation).

Since 1986, Rose has been based in Australia teaching yoga classes & weekend meditation retreats, as well as instructing and lecturing at Yoga Arts, an international school for teacher training. She has been conducting yoga intensives, residential retreats and seminars internationally for the past 11 years.

Ms. Shakta Kaur Kezios, E-RYT


Shakta Kaur, E-RYT, is Interim President and CEO of Yoga Alliance (YA), a United States non-profit organization dedicated to setting educational standards for yoga teachers from all traditions.  She is also the owner of Kundalini Yoga in the Loop (KYL), a yoga studio based in Chicago, Illinois, USA.  Besides teaching Kundalini Yoga both inside and oustide the US, Shakta directs KYL's Aquarian Teacher Training Program which is certified by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI).  She is also the lead organizer for Chicago's annual White Tantric Yoga (WTY) course and the city's only Summer Yoga Fest (SYF).

Shakta is a certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Instructor (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) and is a certified Teacher Trainer for Breath-walk Instructor Certification (walking meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan).  She has served as a teaching assistant at Yogi Bhajan's yoga program. Her "Teach More, Earn More, Serve More" tele-class series is always popular with yogis from all traditions. 

Shakta (aka Susan P. Kezios) also founded Women in Franchising, Inc. (WIF), a consulting firm, in 1987 and founded the American Franchisee Association (AFA) in 1993.

Shri. V. Vasudevan


Shri V. Vasudevan is a man of immense knowledge in various Vedic disciplines like Sanskrit Literature (Sahityam), Logic (Tarka), Philosophy (Vedanta), Ayurveda, Yoga and Martial Art of Kerala – Kalaripayatu. The benevolent and paternal affection of his Guru, erstwhile Brahmasree Poomulli Neelakantan Nambudiripad of Kerala gave him the opportunity to learn with him over two decades and put him in the path of eternal knowledge and bliss.

Shri.Vasudevan has a deep insight in all these wonderful sciences and has a very special gift in imparting his knowledge in an ideal way. His main aim is to preserve Ayurveda, Yoga and all the other Indian sciences and philosophies in their true form.

He was engaged in teaching over 15 years in the Ayurveda College - Coimbatore, affiliated to Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai - South India. Since 1990, he has been the Course Director for the courses in Ayurveda and Yoga for foreign nationals at Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust. He has a remarkable experience of 25 years in teaching and practicing. He has visited European countries like France, England, Germany, Holland, Italy and Switzerland on many occasions for conducting camps and seminars on Ayurveda Yoga and Indian philosophy.

Sri. V. Vasudevan presently holds the position of the Trustee and Director of Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust in Coimbatore, that runs a Gurukula with a duration of eight years, to educate students in Indian knowledge systems, art form and culture in the traditional education model.
