A fundamental objective of this conference is to build bridges between the Indian Ayurveda & Yoga community and its global counterparts. Not only is it important for young Indian Ayurveda and Yoga students to interact with, learn from and be inspired by globally renowned scholars, physicians and practitioners, it is of equal importance that international students and practitioners are able to experience the context in which authentic Ayurveda and Yoga are practiced in India. This conference aims to provide the opportunity to delve deeper into the respective practices, as well as exchange ideas, views and aspirations. All of our revered presenters are highly committed to this objective, and are generously donating their time, expertise and invaluable insight to further this aim. Despite the incalculable value of their contribution, our estimates still suggest that the conference will cost many thousands of rupees for each individual to experience the wisdom of these incomparable presenters. And yet, we are aware that the average Indian Ayurveda/Yoga student can only afford a few hundred rupees towards their registration fees, by the time they pay for their transportation from different parts of India and their accommodation in Rishikesh.
