again being hosted at the Parmarth
Niketan
Ashram this year, which is situated
in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand,

kms away from Delhi. It is connected to Delhi by air, train, bus and
taxi
services. Once in Rishikesh, the conference venue itself is easily
accessible by road, foot and boat, or an easy combination thereof. The conference begins
on the morning of Thursday, February 17,
2011 and
ends
after lunch on Monday, February 21, 2011. Please plan to arrive in
Rishikesh by the early evening of Wednesday, February 16, 2011 and be
ready to
depart after 3.00PM on Monday, February 21, 2011, unless of course your
travel

February weather in Rishikesh: Pleasant. Temperature varies from 19 to 33°C. February is cool / pleasant with temperate
climate. Days are warm and the nights are pleasant. Ideal for outdoor
activities. Winter starts during the month of November and lasts till the end of February. The average temperature remains around 20°C. Evenings are comparatively cooler than during the day time, with the mercury level falling to a minimum of around 5°C. Winter showers may also be experienced during this season.

to Reach Rishikesh?
Nearest
International Airport: Delhi airport.
By
Air from Delhi: There are 2 flights daily from Delhi
to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. Flying time is 50 minutes. From
Dehradun, you can take a taxi to Rishikesh, which takes about 30mins.By
Road from Delhi: Buses run almost every hour
from
Delhi to Haridwar and then Haridwar to Rishikesh. You can also travel
by
car or taxi from Delhi to Rishikesh. A car/taxi from Delhi to
Rishikesh will take around 7-8 hours.By
Rail from Delhi: There are several trains between Delhi
and Haridwar, the nearest rail station to Rishikesh. The journey time
from Delhi to Haridwar is approximately 5-7 hours. Trains from Delhi
depart from numerous stations in Delhi, so seek clear instructions from
the ticket provider as to the departure station name and address. Taxis
from Haridwar to Rishikesh take about 45 minutes.

up to three months in advance. You can make your bookings for February
2008, from Nov 2007 itself.
• From Haridwar, a Taxi can take you in around 30 minutes to
Parmarth Niketan Ashram, the Conference Venue in Rishikesh.
Within
Rishikesh: Upon arrival at Haridwar, you can either hire a taxi to take
you directly to the venue, or you can take a taxi/bus/auto-rickshaw to
the Muni-ki-reti parking lot in Rishikesh which is the parking near Ram
Jhula (also called Sivanand Jhula). A taxi will take about 45 mins and
the bus/auto rickshaw about an hour. From Ram Jhula you can take a
motor boat across Ganga (or walk across the bridge). After crossing the
bridge, or coming off the boat, head down-stream of the Ganga (a few
hundred metres from the bridge) – until you see a huge beautiful clock
tower. That is Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
