Who is behind this venture
Vaidya Ramkumar
Dr. Ramkumar is a lifelong student of Ayurveda and other traditional Indian knowledge systems. Over the last 2 decades, he has given talks and conducted workshops in the Americas, Africa, Europe, Australia and many parts of Asia, promoting health, happiness and contentment.
Dr Kalpana Sampath
Dr. Kalpana with a PhD in Social science is a management specialist focused on understanding consciousness through human processes and art. Over the last 25 years she has led over 500 workshops in the area of Values clarification and Learning for Nurturing Excellence. Dr. Kalpana and her family have been practicing Ayurveda treatments for several years, both in the preventive and curative mould, and are firmly committed to helping Ayurveda reach more people. She is also the Director of Arpitha Associates PVT Ltd, a research organization headed by Dr J M Sampath and dedicated to setting a school of thought on ‘Evolutionary Leadership’ with a vision to enable evolutionary excellence by focusing on the foundational elements of Vision, Values & Learning and their inter dynamics at both individual and organizational level.
Dr Sampath J M
Dr Sampath is a quintessential learner. His years of personal research and observation have evolved into models of individual & organisational development. Working with individuals with a fundamental process-oriented approach, Sampath's life and mission parallel facilitation of the movement towards wisdom, in the quest for excellence, in all spheres of human activity. The conceptual understandings of Values Clarification for Change and Learning for Nurturing Excellence are the cornerstones of Sampath's work. He believes that clarity about one's values will help one understand one's behaviour and make change processes more effective.
Vaidya K K Harikrishnan
Dr. K.K. Harikrishnan has carried forward the traditions of his ayurveda lineage that has its origin in the land of Ayurveda – Kerala. After completing his graduation in Ayurveda Medicine, he underwent training for a year in Bala chikitsa (Child care) from the eminent BalaVaidyan Sri.Gangadharan. He is the Medical Director of the third hospital cluster in Punarnava Ayurveda’s environment friendly ayurveda village vaidyagrama in Coimbatore. Dr Harikrishnan started gaining his experience at his family firm Arogyodayam Ayurveda. His almost 30 years of ayurveda service and commitment to universal health has seen him build up a good practice, treating innumerable patients with varied medical conditions.
Vaidya E K Ramanandan
Dr. E. K. Ramanandan belongs to a traditional family of Ayurveda physicians in Kerala. He is an alumnus of Ayurveda College Coimbatore, and he then practiced under Sri. Narayanan Vaidyar of Aryavaidyodayam. He also gained his experience under his father Dr. E.K. Vidyananandan who was senior specialist at Government Ayurveda Research Institute for Mental Diseases, Kerala. Dr Ramanandan heads the second cluster of hospital in Vaidyagrama Ayurveda healing village, the Green hospital in South India. This third generation Physician utilises the experience he gained in his Ayurveda hospital and ayurveda medicine manufacturing unit Thulasi Ayurveda. His qualification in Hospital management gives him an edge about good administration and uses his regularly updated medical knowledge in implementation of treatment plans for his patients.
Vaidya A R Ramadas
Hailing from Thrissur the cultural capital of Kerala, Dr. A. R. Ramadas is offering his services to Ayurveda care and Ayurveda teaching as Medical Director of Vaidyagrama Ayurveda in Coimbatore. He heads the first cluster of this eco-friendly Ayurveda hospital, where he has been engaged in Ayurveda services from 2008. He inherits a strong family tradition of a long line of Ayurveda practitioners, serving the community for more than half a century. Dr. Ramadas completed his Ayurveda graduation and underwent a training in Nethra Chikitsa (Ophthalmology) under the guidance of the famous traditional Ayurveda Ophthalmologist Manakunnath Gopalan Vaidya. He followed this by training under the well-known paediatrician C.N.S Gangadharan Vaidyar. He also did M.S Psychotherapy and Counselling from Institute of Behavioural and Management Sciences. He had headed his family firm Rajendra Pharmacy, R.P.M Ayurvedic Nursing Home, as well as the Ayurveda centre of Punarnava Ayurveda at Vietnam. His compassion and expertise is in offering Ayurveda care for varied ailments, has made Dr Ramadas, a favourite Vaidya for patients across the globe.
