Vd. Shri Krishna Sharma Khandel

Professor (Retired), Rognidan PG Department, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur.
An MD in Kaya Chikitsa and a PhD, Vd. Shri Krishna Sharma Khandel is the founder and director of ArogyaLaxmi Ayurveda Centre in Jaipur. He also serves as the Chairman of the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) at the All India Institute of India, Delhi, and the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Group at CCRAS (Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences). Dr Khandel, the esteemed founder of the ArogyaLaxmi Ayurveda Centre, has a rich 40-year journey in global Ayurveda, during which he has worked as a seasoned Consultant Physician, Academician, Mentor, Author, Researcher, and Counsellor. Widely acknowledged for his expertise, he is considered one of the best Ayurvedic doctors in Jaipur. Dr Khandel has treated over a million patients and has played key international roles. His dedication to health and well-being is unparalleled and reflects his deep commitment to the principles of Ayurveda.
In recent years, he has been part of several important committees, including the CCIM syllabus reforms committee and various committees of CCRAS, where he has worked on developing clinical protocols. Additionally, he is working as a Super-consultant with a global clinical network, developing online clinical protocols for various diseases, which have already been released by the Hon'ble Secretary AYUSH.

Vaidya T. S. Krishna KumaR

Guru, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth. Former Head of Department and Professor, Department of Agada Tantra, MVR Ayurveda College, Parassinikadavu, Kannur.
Dr. T. S. Krishna Kumar graduated in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in 1986 through the Gurukula System from Coimbatore Ayurveda College, under Madras University. He then completed his post-graduation in Rasasastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (1987-90) from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram. He was initiated into traditional Rasasastra by a renowned guru in the lineage of Chattambi Swamikal and into the Sreevidya Sampradaya of Tantrism, from the Bhaskararaya lineage, which he has practised since 1991. Tantra is said to be the mother of all Indian sciences, and Dr. Kumar believes that every aspect of any Indian science, including Ayurveda, can only be understood through its regular practice. He developed the wisdom of Holistic Ayurveda through this practice and now implements it in his clinical work.
Dr. Krishna Kumar's vision, thinking, and practice extend beyond the limited boundaries of physical healing to incorporate components essential for the holistic understanding and management of health conditions. He plans to facilitate the Gurukula System of teaching for his disciples, as he believes it is the best way to imbibe and transfer knowledge. A successful Ayurvedic practitioner for more than three decades, he has over 41 papers published at several national and international forums.
He was formerly a Professor and Head of the Department of Agadatantra, MVR Ayurveda College, Parassinkkadavu, Kannur. He is also a Member of the Board of Studies for Ayurveda Medical PG at Kerala University of Health Sciences. In 1990, he was the Founder President of Ayurveda Vikasa Kendram, Thrissur, a charitable organisation for the development of Ayurvedic clinical practice and research. Driven by the concept of preaching, practising, and propagating holistic Ayurveda, he started the Santhiniketan Ayurveda Nursing Home at Kozhikode in 1990, founded Gurukulam, CETAS, Vadakara in 2001, and started Atree Ayurveda at Malappuram on 21 February 2018.
Dr. Krishna Kumar was one of the convenors of the first World Ayurveda Congress, organised by the Swadeshi Science Movement at Cochin in 2002. In 2003, he was awarded the Vasudevan Memorial Award for the Best Article in 'Physician', a journal published by KSGAMOA. He has also visited foreign countries, including Brazil and the Reunion Islands of France, to propagate holistic Ayurveda around the globe.
He had the fortune of serving as a regular faculty for several Ayurvedic meets, including Tatwaprakashini and Ashtanga Hrdaya Saptaha, and residential programmes organised by AVP, Coimbatore. He was also the recipient of the 2017 Best Teacher Award from JIGNASA, a national organisation for the development of Ayurveda. He had the opportunity to serve as the Chairman and Resource Person of the fifth International Ayurveda Conference, organised by Vaidyagrama, Coimbatore. He also writes popular columns about Ayurveda in several newspapers and journals and has received several prestigious honours for his selfless work in promoting the practice of holistic Ayurveda. He is a Founder Member of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, Kerala, and on the National Executive of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, India. He is currently serving as a Guru under Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

Vaidya M. Prasad

Guru @ RAV. Director & Chief Physician at Sunethri Ayurvedashram & Research Centre.
After his post-graduation in Salakya Tanthra, Vd. Prasad established his own Ayurvedashram and Research Centre, named Sunethri, in his home district of Thrissur. He has over 28 years of clinical and teaching experience. Vd. Prasad served as the Principal and Superintendent of Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam and Vidyapeedham for five years (2015-2020). Parallel to the regular classes at an Ayurveda college during the early nineties, he learned the principles and practice of Ayurveda under the legendary Acharya Padmabhushan Vaidyabhushanam K. Raghavan Thirumulpad for 21 years and was trained in clinical Ayurveda under Padmasree Dr. K. Rajagopalan. He loves to explore the possibilities of informal Ayurvedic learning and teaching and is regularly engaged in conducting learning programmes. In 2020, he was appointed as Guru for the CRAV programme by Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, New Delhi. He has been conducting research-oriented work on the care of autistic children since 2002.

Vaidya Abhijeet Saraf

Dr. Abhijeet Saraf is a distinguished Ayurveda physician and Professor in the Department of Basic Principles at AAC & H, Nashik, as well as a PG and PhD guide. With a PhD in Ayurveda, for which he was awarded a gold medal, Dr. Saraf is an expert in the literary research and fundamentals of Ayurveda, with a particular focus on the Charak Samhita. He is the Founder and President of the Agastya Foundation in Nashik, where he actively contributes to the management of non-profit organisations in the healthcare sector. Dr. Saraf has over 18 years of clinical experience and is highly skilled in Sanskrit, guest lecturing, and data collection. He is proficient in four ancient scripts: Brahmi, Sharada, Old Nagari, and Devnagari.
A well-known speaker and resource person, Dr. Saraf has conducted more than 250 online lectures on various platforms globally. His academic contributions include the publication of over 102 papers in national and international journals, six poster presentations, 20 paper presentations, and the authorship of 10 books. Dr. Saraf's excellence in the field has been recognised with more than 27 awards.

Vaidya Rahul R. Nair

Head of Department, Associate Professor – Department of Roga Nidanam & Vikriti Vijnanam, Ashtamgam Ayurveda Vidyapeedham.
A trained specialist in Ayurvedic Clinical Medicine and Pathological Sciences, Dr. Nair is always interested in collaborating the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with evolving advances in technomedicine. He strives to develop contemporary teaching technology for Ayurvedic clinical medicine and pathology. He also tries to explore the vast potential of Ayurveda in providing solutions for a spectrum of diseases like cancer, autoimmunity, and pulmonary and cardiac disorders. In an attempt to develop innovation and entrepreneurship in Ayurveda, he initiated the 'Ashtamgam Innovation Incubation Hub'. Dr. Rajmohan Velayudhan Pillai

Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, Department of RSBK, Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Dr. Rajmohan V, PhD, is a renowned Ayurvedic academician, researcher, and public health contributor with over two decades of experience. He holds a BAMS (2002), MD (2007), and PhD (2021) in Ayurveda from the University of Kerala. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram, under KUHS. A thought leader in Rasashastra, Ayurvedic pharmaceutics, research methodology, and public health policy, he has significantly contributed to drug standardisation, Rasayana research, and Kerala's Covid-19 Ayurvedic response. He served as State Coordinator of the Kerala Ayurveda Covid-19 Response Cell and was part of the Chief Minister-led delegation to Japan and South Korea.
Dr. Rajmohan has authored multiple peer-reviewed research papers, national policy documents, and public health models. He is currently Special Officer for the upcoming International Research Institute of Ayurveda (IRIA), Kerala. He has received several accolades, including the Sreshta Acharya Award (2022) and the SKM Research Scholar Award, for his contribution to Ayurvedic education and research.

Dr. Ravishankar Shenoy is the Professor and Head of the Department of Roga Nidan avum Vikriti Vigyan at Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences, Manipal. He holds a B.A.M.S. Vaidya Nisha KumarI

​Dean of Academics and Professor of the Roga Nidana and Vikriti Vijnana Department, Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College, Kundapura Tq., Udupi Dist., Karnataka.
Dr. Nisha Kumari was born and raised in the Udupi district of Karnataka and completed her BAMS degree in 2003 from Alvas Ayurveda Medical College – Moodabidri. She pursued her post-graduation at SDM Ayurveda Medical College – Udupi, specialising in Roga Nidana. She began her career at Alva's Ayurveda Medical College, Moodabidri, as an Assistant Professor and consultant. She then served as an Associate Professor at SDM Ayurveda Medical College – Hassan as an Associate guide and PG guide. During her time there, she was a research scholar and completed a major research project on the antimicrobial action of Dhupana against airborne microorganisms in indoor environments of central hospitals. She wrote a textbook on Roga Nidana and Vikruthi Vijnana for second-year BAMS students. She then served as a Professor and Head of Department at Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College – Mangalore, where she published various articles in national and international indexed journals on subjects such as: 'Ama', 'Arbuda', 'Upashaya', 'Arista Vijnana', 'Microbiology', 'The Influence of Classical Dance on Human Health', 'Gut Microbiome', 'Biotransformation', and 'Xenobiotics'. Currently, she is writing textbooks on Sharira Kriya, the 12th chapter of Charaka Samhita, and a second edition of Roga Nidana and Madhavanidana, which is in press. She is also researching the gut microbiome and its influence on health in various body systems, as well as the role of regular practice of classical dance in geriatrics. She has given many talks at various forums on topics like 'Twak Vikara', 'Ama and its Modern Perspective', 'Prameha', 'Medoroga', 'Thyroid Disorders', 'Joint Diseases', and 'Career Guidance for Ayurveda Doctors'. With these accomplishments, she is currently working as a Professor and Head of Department at Kundapura Rural Ayurveda Medical College – Udupi.

Dr. Manoj Kumar A. K is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Panchakarma, with over three decades of experience in Ayurvedic education, clinical practice, and research. A graduate of the University of Kerala, he completed his B.A.M.S. in 1990 and pursued a postgraduate specialisation in Ayurveda (M.D. Panchakarma) from the same university in 1995. His academic journey culminated in a PhD from Gujarat Ayurved University in 2004, further strengthening his expertise in Panchakarma and evidence-based Ayurvedic therapies. Known for his academic rigour and clinical acumen, Dr. Manoj Kumar has mentored numerous postgraduate and doctoral scholars, contributing significantly to the advancement of Panchakarma as a speciality. His work reflects a strong commitment to integrating traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary scientific methodologies.

Vaidya Mukesh E.

Dr. Mukesh E, MD (Ay), PhD, is an experienced Ayurvedic educator with over 14 years of teaching experience, mentoring undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students. He completed his BAMS from SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi, his MD in Roganidana from Government Ayurveda College, Kannur, Kerala, and his PhD from SCSVMV University, Kanchipuram.
He also currently serves as the Director of Kottakkal Ayurveda School of Excellence (KASE), where he has been instrumental in framing and designing certificate programmes for Ayurvedic doctors. Under his leadership, KASE offers ATAB-certified courses aimed at upskilling Ayurvedic practitioners through innovative and practical learning approaches. Before his tenure as an educator, he worked as a Medical Officer in the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine, Government of Kerala, for five years. A dedicated clinician and clinical educator, he has published several papers in national and international journals and has been a speaker at various seminars in India and abroad. In 2013, as part of a Group Study Exchange programme, he visited the southern states of the USA, delivering orientation talks on Ayurveda at multiple conferences. Dr. Mukesh is a Master Trainer in the Faculty Development Programme of Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and a visiting faculty in training programmes run by the Institute of Management in Government (IMG), Kerala. He is also one of the expert consultants in the development of Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) for lifestyle disorders under CCRAS, New Delhi. Actively involved in Ayurvedic training programmes and research workshops, he contributes significantly to the professional development of Ayurvedic educators and practitioners.

Vd. Madhu P. M., BAMS, MD (Ay), is Professor in the Department of Roga Nidana, Government Ayurveda College, Kannur, with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Kerala University of Health Sciences, he is a distinguished clinician, researcher, author, and academic mentor.
Dr. Madhu has presented over 100 scientific papers at national and international forums, including the World Ayurveda Congress, and has guided numerous postgraduate dissertations. A certified JCI trainer, he has been actively engaged in professional training for students and medical officers.

He has been honored with multiple prestigious awards, including the Dr. L. Mahadevan Memorial Bhishak Sreshta Award (2025), five P. S. Warrier All India Research Thesis Awards (1998, 1999, 2000, 2012), and the Sasthrathna Award from the Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage (2001).
With his deep commitment to integrating classical Ayurvedic wisdom and modern research, Vd. Madhu P. M. stands as a leading voice in advancing Ayurvedic diagnostics and clinical excellence.

Dr. Simi Ravindran is a distinguished academician and clinician, currently serving as the Associate Professor and Head of the Panchakarma Department at Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram. A First Rank holder in BAMS from Kerala University and recipient of the Vaidyan KVK Memorial Gold Medal, she completed her MD in Panchakarma in 2009. Vaidya Rajnikant Patel

Dr. Rajnikant Patel is a renowned Ayurvedic physician specialising in the management of complex and critical cases through classical Ayurvedic approaches. A graduate of Atreya Ayurveda Medical College, Bangalore (RGUHS, 2014), he currently serves as the Chief Physician at Agnivesh Ayurved Hospital, Surat—a 15-bed, fully equipped Panchakarma facility with AYUSH visa and insurance support. He has successfully treated over 1,500 cases of mucormycosis (black fungus) using Ayurvedic medicines alone, a feat that was featured by BBC News. Dr. N.V. Sreevaths is a well-known Ayurvedic physician from Kerala with vast experience as both a practitioner and an academician. He has served in several reputed institutions and hospitals, such as Ayurveda College Hospital, Coimbatore; Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Clinic, Palakkad; and Kairali Ayurvedic Health Resort, Palakkad. He was also a Marma Senior Specialist Medical Officer in the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine under the Department of AYUSH & Health and Family Welfare, Government of Kerala, and the State Coordinator of the Sports Ayurveda Research Cell. He is very keen on propagating Indian medical sciences and identifying the common strands of thinking among the various systems. He works on the intelligent integration of various medical systems for the welfare of the suffering ill.
In his career, he worked as the Principal and Superintendent of the Ayurveda College and Hospital, Sulur, Coimbatore, as well as at the Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medical College, Mahe, under the Government of Puducherry between 2013 and 2016, and later as its Director. He was also the Professor and Head of the Department of Shalyatantra at the Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad. He retired as the District Program Manager of the National AYUSH Mission in charge of the Thrissur and Ernakulam Districts. Dr. N.V. Sreevaths is well known for his judicious use of treatment modalities. He has developed massage oil and other Traditional Kerala Ayurveda Panchakarma and Kalari massage treatments. During his postgraduate course, he worked on a medicine called Rasagandhimezhugu to relieve pain in terminally ill cancer patients at the Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum. He has formulated more than 20 new combinations for various disease conditions in his practice.
He has participated, presented, and chaired many state, national, and international seminars and conferences throughout his career. He also worked as an honorary director at the Svaasthyakshetram Ayurvedic Health Care Centre, Nallepilly, and as a mentor at the Ayurvedic Research and Training Institute, Nallepilly.

Vd. Vinod Kumar T. G. holds a BAMS from Ayurveda College, Coimbatore (Bharathiar University). He specialises in Ayurveda, ethnomedicine, and ethnopharmacology, including traditional knowledge-based herbal drug development, medicinal plant research, and biodiversity. A Fellow of the National Society of Ethnopharmacology (FNSE), he has been a scientist at JNTBGRI since 1995. His research experience in the field of Ayurveda, ethnomedicine, and ethnopharmacology includes traditional knowledge-based herbal drug development. He holds two patents on herbal drugs, with five more pending, and has been involved in the commercialisation of two herbal products, 'JEEVANI' and 'SISAIROSP'. With more than 46 papers in international and national journals, he has also presented papers and given invited talks at more than 54 national and international conferences. He is a member of the Board of Governors in the Central Council of Indian Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and a member of the National Society of Ethnopharmacology. He was nominated by the Governor of Kerala as a Senate Member for the University of Kerala.

Vaidya NN Devan Namboodiri

Dr. N. N. Devan Namboodiri studied at Ayurveda College, Coimbatore. After completing his B.A.M.S, he started private practice and also acquired knowledge in various subjects like Vyakarana, Nyaaya, Meemmamsa, Advaitha Vedantha, Yoga, Ayurveda, and Hasthyayurveda under the Gurukula system from well-known scholars such as the late Poomully Neelakandhan Namboodiripad, the late Vaidyamadhom Valiya Narayanan Namboodiri, and the late Vaisravanath Vasudevan Namboodiri. He is the founder and chief physician of Asokalayam Ayurveda Chikithsa Kendram, Thiruvegappura, and chief consulting physician of Poomully Mana Ayurveda Centre, Peringode. He is also a consulting physician at Nandavanam Hospital-Ottappalam. Dr. N. N. Devan Namboodiri is currently providing his services to Punnathur Gaja Samrakshana Kendram of Guruvayur Devaswom as a Jeeva Dhanam expert committee member. He is the principal of "Hasthyadyayurveda pathana gaveshana kendram (GTNGET), Guruvayur.

Dr. U. Indulal had the privilege of being trained in the historic 7.5-year Gurukula education programme offered by Coimbatore Ayurveda College, which is run by The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Limited, a pioneering Ayurveda institution in India. He graduated in 1993. Ever since, he worked for The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (AVP) and was involved in its clinical, academic, research, and manufacturing activities for 25 years.

Dr Anju P Ramachandran

Dr. Anju P. Ramachandran is a distinguished Ayurveda physician with 17 years of clinical experience and 12 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. A PhD holder from ITRA, Jamnagar, and a University topper in MD (Ayurveda) & BAMS from SDMCA Udupi, she has authored a widely used textbook on Kayachikitsa and has over 10 research publications, including in UGC CARE journals. She serves as a PhD guide under KUHS and has been invited as a speaker and resource person at prestigious institutions, including AIIA Delhi, SDM Udupi, and IMG Kerala. Dr. Anju also leads the Ayurveda Research Team (ART) and is the State Coordinator for Clinical Data Management in public health initiatives like the Endosulfan Rehabilitation Project. She actively promotes Ayurveda through media and academic platforms at national and international levels.
