Vaidya T S Krishna Kumar
Dr. Krishna Kumar graduated in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Coimbatore Ayurveda College in 1986, following the Gurukula System. He pursued his post-graduation in Rasasastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram (1987-1990). He received traditional initiation into Rasasastra from a guru in the Chattambi Swamikal lineage and has been a practitioner of the Sreevidya Sampradaya of Tantrism (Bhaskararaya lineage) since 1991. He emphasizes that Tantra is crucial for understanding all Indian Sciences, including Ayurveda, and integrates this understanding into his holistic Ayurvedic clinical practice.
Professional Experience and Vision He was formerly a Professor and Head of the Department of Agadatantra at MVR Ayurveda College, Parassinikadavu. His vision extends beyond physical healing to a holistic approach to health management, and he plans to facilitate the Gurukula System of teaching for his disciples.
