After hosting four Conferences away, we are happy to invite you to the home of vaidyagrama for the fifth. The VENUE of the Conference keeps with the THEME of the Conference - "Exploring Interconnectedness of MAN and NATURE". VAIDYAGRAMA AYURVEDA HEALING VILLAGE aspires to be a green eco-friendly self-sustainable authentic Ayurveda healing space in the green laps of Nature in the outskirts of Coimbatore, South India.
We wish to share the strength we gained from the expert PRESENTERS, when they too believed in the theme. They were ready to support the cause, and to share their wisdom and experience wholeheartedly at the Conference. When like-minded souls came together for the cause, the theme and thought became more meaningful and complete. You may ask if it is an AYURVEDA Conference.... We like to answer that it is a Conference about Ayurveda also, but that is not all. It is also about Yoga, Sthapatya Veda, Gandhara Veda, and more INDIAN KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS. You will learn about Man in Nature, and about Ayurveda better in relation with its allied sciences. There is a huge learning opportunity that awaits you at the Conference. We aimed to bring out the best of all knowledge system worlds, where you get to begin to understand the big picture of man in relation to his context. The Conference SCHEDULE will have discussions, talks, satsangs, expo, demonstrations, Samaradhana poojas, yoga, performing arts - all planned to be tuned in to the theme, for you to have a wholesome understanding. Your learning prowess will be enhanced with various modes as talks, audio visual presentations, demonstrations, practical sessions and more. It is your Conference, if you are interested in Ayurveda or any of the Indian Knowledge systems in any way. It will show where the paths merge. Your interest itself makes you eligible to be a DELEGATE, even if you are not a practitioner, teacher or even a student. Your learning journey could be designed by you at this Conference, as you would even get to choose your lessons and to mould your experience. Following the main session of the day, there would be parallel SESSIONS, and you could choose where to be based on where your interest lies. While learning, there is also a door to experience these knowledge systems for yourself, when you can have an ASTROLOGY or AYURVEDA CONSULTATION and Ayurveda treatments/ medicines at the Conference. We wish to offer this learning too, for you to be able to take back a personal experience. SamaradhanaIn tune with the theme of the Conference, "Exploring Interconnectedness of Man with Nature", the spiritual atmosphere is established with the Poojas to the nine planets/Navagrahas. A special feature of the Conference would be a series of Poojas offered to each of the Navagrahas, on each day of the week. There will be Samaradhana for Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury,Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu which will complete this pooja saga.
SAMARADHANA is the systematically ritualistic ceremony of Pooja offered to specific deities. Each planet is offered prayers to seek its benevolence and favour in our lives. These prayers aim to remove any obstacle caused by any of the planets in debilitation. It also enhances the benefits and blessings of the planets when they are pleased. Sun - Surya samArAdhana is done to bless all with the good benefits of alleviating illnesses, with blessings of the ancestors and the praying deity, as well as with material gains and success. Moon - The Chandra Samaradhana is to align the lunar cycle well, for getting the blessings of Moon for happiness and universal Wellbeing.
Mars - Kuja Mandala Samaradhana is with the effort to study how the three dharmas of Mars - Support; Brotherhood; Debts of Bhakti, Jnana, Karma - play roles in one s horoscope, and how it benefits the being.
Mercury - Budha Samaradhana offers prayers to Budha or Mercury, the centre of intelligence in the solar system; the causer of knowledge, intelligence, discretion, consciousness, wisdom and super consciousness.
Jupiter - Guru Mandala Samaradhana is prayer for Jupiter who links the ties of the cycle of births and rebirths of human beings. Jupiter also defines Wellbeing / Sukritham in a person s life.
All aspects of each of the Navagrahas are studied deeply in each of these Samaradhana, and it follows an organised structure as a schedule. It is done in correlation of Man with all allied Indian Knowledge Systems, for human Wellbeing with Divine benevolence.

It is seen that in the created excellence of Universe, it is the imagery of Venus that is most aesthetic. It is established that the planets influence all living beings by receiving, transmitting, reflecting the Universal Energy in different ways and at different levels. Venus is nearer than Jupiter in position; and hence naturally, compared to Jupiter, Venus becomes the planet that influences worldly life on Earth more. Venus gifts the person the charisma of worldliness, expressible through the five sense organs.
We are happy to inform you that as a continuing series of Poojas offered to each of the Navagrahas, since April 2014, we have completed Samaradhana for Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter at vaidyagrama Ayurveda village; it has Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu to complete this pooja saga. Shukra Mandala Samaradhana - Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Village - 30 November 2014 - 6am - 11am Shukra (Venus) Mandala Samaradhana It is popularly said that Venus period has risen or is shining in one s horoscope. This term is most apt for a worldly person only, who is involved in the financial, professional and family life. Hence it denotes that Shukran causes the Artha and Kama in the Purushartham, and that it is aimed at attaining that. The Shukran is the Acharya of the Asuras/ demons. When Shukran is strong in a horoscope, worldly signs fill that person. It lavishly blesses the person with wealth, vehicle, clothing, ornaments, sexuality, music, art etc which are deemed to be Asura-like in quality. Shukran balances the rhythm of worldly life on Earth.
