Respected Sir,
I write from Punarnava Ayurveda Trust, located in Coimbatore, and we have been working with a Vision of propagation and practice of Ayurveda learning, healing and way of life.
        We are planning to hold the 5th International Conference on Ayurveda Where Science Meets Consciousness, Exploring interconnectedness of Man and Nature in our eco -friendly Ayurveda healing village vaidyagrama from December 11-18, 2015. The focus will be on “interconnectedness” with special emphasis on the Navagrahas and their influence on life and living. The idea is to understand “holism” in-depth and to devote each day to the study of the graha of the day from all perspectives including body parts, diseases, herbs, grains, lentils, mantras, pujas, colours, ragas etc.
        We would like to use this opportunity to invite articles for the Souvenir which will be published during the Conference and of which selected writers will be invited as speakers.
        It would be our privilege to have your article in the Souvenir and also we request you to be a part of the conference and make the event a big success.
        The details of the regulations for writing the articles are attached along with this mail.

Regulations for writing the manuscript to publish in the Souvenir
A manuscript will be reviewed for possible publication that it is submitted to us only and has not been published in any of the other journals or souvenir simultaneously submitted either partially or fully or already accepted for publication elsewhere.
           We expect that authors would authorize one of them to correspond with us for all matters related to the manuscript.

Peer - review
The Manuscripts which are suitable for publication in Souvenir will be sent to two or more expert reviewers and we are following double-blinded review process.
           The comments and suggestions received from reviewers will be conveyed to the corresponding author.
           After revision by the authors, accepted manuscripts for publication are copy edited for grammar, punctuation, print style, and format. Page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author. The corresponding author is expected to return the corrected proofs within two days. It may not be possible to incorporate corrections received after that period. The whole process of submission of the manuscript to final decision and receiving proofs will be completed online.

Copyright and Authorship undertaking
The manuscript with similar content partially or fully, that has not been published nor is being considered for publication elsewhere by the authors in any other means of publication. Authors have to produce the data upon which the manuscript is based for examination to the convenor / editors or their assignees, if requested. Punarnava Ayurveda Trust shall own the work, including copyright, right to republish the article in whole or in part, with or without fee, right to produce preprints or reprints and translate into languages other than English for sale or free distribution. We have the right to republish the work in a collection of articles in any other mechanical or electronic format.
           When a large, multicenter group has conducted the work, the group should identify the individuals who accept direct responsibility for the manuscript. These individuals should fully meet the criteria for authorship / contributor ship and editors will ask these individuals to complete journal-specific author and conflict-of-interest disclosure forms. When submitting a manuscript authored by a group, the corresponding author should clearly indicate the preferred citation and identify all individual authors as well as the group name. The other members of the group should be listed in the Acknowledgments.

Manuscript Preparation
For all manuscripts, provide a separate title page (title, full names referenced by numerals superscripts (1) with affiliation and addresses of all authors). Title should not be too long. Size of Fonts – Title – 14 (BOLD UPPER CASE), Times New Roman fonts should be used. Address of the corresponding Author along with E-Mail, etc. Numbering of the pages should start from the Title page. Total number of pages attached, number of words in Abstract and Main article has to be mentioned in the Title page. We accept manuscripts written in UK English.
           The following sections are required and should be arranged in the following order for Original Research Articles:
           Abstract
           Keywords
           Introduction
           Material and methods
           Results
           Discussion
           Conclusion
           Acknowledgement
           References
           Tables
           Figures (if any)

Abstract: Write the abstract in the order of: Purpose; Methods; Results; Conclusion. The Abstract should be 100 to 250 words.
Key words: Not more than 6 words.
Introduction: Short introduction reviewing the progress of the research and the importance of the present study is required. All Sanskrit / regional terms should be translated into English and should be mentioned in brackets. 
Materials and methods: Materials & Methods should elaborate the essential details along with the experimental design & statistical analysis.
Requirements of Ethical committee Certificates: Studies involving Animal experiments or Clinical studies should be properly attested by the Ethical committees existing in the institute where it was conducted.
Results: The results can be described with Tables, Figures or Words.
Discussion: Discussions regarding the data obtained and important information which emphasizes the new findings of the present research work should be discussed.
Conclusion: It should be short and easy to understand.
Acknowledgements: Persons other than Authors who had helped in providing technical support, drafting assistance, finance, material support and other higher authorities who had provided them a chance to conduct the work and others who have extended their hands to successful completion of the work should be acknowledged.

Tables
Tables should be placed after the References. Table numbers should be incorporated in the text for easy understanding of the readers. Tables should be self-explanatory and should not duplicate textual material. Tables with more than 10 columns or 25 rows are not acceptable. Number the tables in numerals (1, 2, 3,…) consecutively in the order of their first citation in the text. (eg. Table 1) 

Images
Images should be placed after the Tables. Image numbers should be incorporated in the text for easy understanding of the readers. Number the images in numerals (1, 2, 3,…) consecutively in the order of their first citation in the text. (eg. Figure 1)

JPEG is the preferred format and should be the digital image with minimum resolution of 300 dpi or 1024 x 780 pixels. Photographs and figures should be cropped to remove the unnecessary areas. The Journal has the right to crop, rotate, reduce, or enlarge photographs to an acceptable size to fit into the article.

The Review article should be arranged in the following manner:
It is expected that these articles would be written by individuals who have done substantial work on the subject or are considered experts in the field. A short summary of the work done by the contributor(s) in the field of review should accompany the manuscript.

The section titles would depend upon the topic reviewed. Authors submitting review article should include a section describing the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data. These methods should also be summarized in the abstract. The review article should be concluded or conclusion should be included. A review article should not be a mere compilation. The journal expects the contributors to give post-publication updates on the subject of review. The update should be brief, covering the advances in the field after the publication of the article and should be sent as a letter to editor, as and when major development occurs in the field.

Case reports should be reported with the following headings
           Abstract
           Key words
           Introduction
           Case report
           Discussion
           Reference
           Tables
           Figure (if any)

Interesting and rare cases can be reported. They should be unique, describing a great diagnostic or therapeutic challenge and providing a learning point for the readers. Cases with clinical significance or implications will be given priority. 

Size of the files
The total size of the file (Covering letter and Main script) should not be more than 2 MB.

Plagiarism
If there is any plagiarism noted while screening, the manuscript will be rejected.
